Diploma in Fine Arts programme is designed with an objective to make the students aware of different types of paintings, methodologies, materials & its techniques to enhance their creative skill and develop their own imagination to create the art pieces. This course is suitable for everyone who wants to learn the various mediums, starting from basic pencil drawing to advance level of painting techniques. If you are either beginner or intermediate and wanted to develop yourself as a skilled hobby artist then this course is for you.

This course is a guide to improve skill and gain mastery in Basic pencil drawing, Color pencil shading, Watercolor, Acrylic painting, Oil Paintings as a medium. A variety of subjects including still life, flowers, animals, landscapes, Human figure, portraiture and pictorial composition are covered in this course.

Drawing

Fundamental of Art, Tools and techniques.
Freehand drawing of line, shape and forms.
Proportion and Volume from different angles.
Study of light and shades.
Various shading techniques: Hatching, Cross Hatching, Squirkling, Stippling, slinky pencil shading.
Basics of Perspective, Eye Level & Vanishing Point.

Still Life

Study of foreground and background with drapery.
Texture study with different materials like cloth, wood, glass,
bronze, mirror, china clay, terracotta, etc.
Selection and arrangement of objects in different angles.
Eye-level, source of light, tonal variation, composition.
