Description
Still life study is a drawing or painting that focuses on still objects. The subject matter is inanimate and never moves, typically with a focus on household objects, flowers or fruits. The composition is the arrangement of visual elements or ingredients in a work of art, as distinct from the subject of a work.
The Goal of still life composition is to develop the observation skill and a new way of looking to ordinary objects around us.
The students are made to practice the still life from different angles with the proper disposition. The techniques are made simple to improve skill and gain mastery in interesting way so that one can enjoy while drawing.

- Be familiar with Elements of Art and its usage in the drawing.
- How to see the objects and develop our observation skill.
- Sketching of the basic shapes and forms of a subject in a very simple and easy way.
- Add details to the drawings and bringing life-like appearance to them.
- Composition theory and its effects on artwork.
- Study of Light and Shades on objects and understanding of highlights and shadows as well as Tones and Values.
- Creating a dimension to the object with proper shading techniques.
- Start at the very beginning and understand the techniques step by step to advance level.
- The student will gain confidence with this medium and its different techniques and will able to draw like pro successfully.
