The Oil painting is centuries old and classical medium, was in practice in Europe especially from the Renaissance period. It has witnessed the majority of art movement, starting from classical realism to Impressionism as a medium in the history of western modern art.

This course is designed to teach anyone from beginner to moderate level, all about the fundamentals of oil painting and its techniques in easy method. This course covers the basic design concepts in the creation of paintings and drawings. Elements include line, shading, perspective and negative space. Emphasis is placed on choice of materials, depiction of light and shadow, painting techniques, basic color mixing and composition.

This course is a guide to improve skill and gain mastery in Oil painting. A variety of subjects for study and Pictorial composition are covered in this course.

• Be familiar with Oil medium, tools and usages of techniques.
• Colors application, mixing, blending and understanding of Color theory with reference to Tone and Value. 
• Application of Brushes and varieties of strokes to create effects and textures in painting.
• Create a dimension to the object with highlights and shadows.
• Painting in layers works starting with an underpainting, and bring the painting to completion.
• Drawing Nature, Flowers, Animals, Birds, Landscapes composition effectively by using color pencils.
• Start at the very beginning and understand the techniques step by step to advance level.
• The student will gain confidence with this medium and its different techniques and will able to draw like pro successfully.
